Right of Withdrawal and Return of Goods

1. The buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal under the following conditions:

    • The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, and the buyer has not opened the packaging of the product. For this reason, it is not possible to return the Villa Mode Box (fragrance sample set)* and fragrance decants in packaging** since it is not possible to prove that the product has not been opened.
    • It is not possible to refund a gift card.
    • The product must not be damaged.
    • The product must not be used or tested.
    • The product must not have lost its appearance suitable for resale (unbroken labels, intact protective films, etc.) (this does not apply to products damaged during delivery, for which the buyer has indicated objections upon receiving).
    • The product to be returned must be in the same condition as it was at the time of receipt.

*Refunds for the Villa Mode Box (fragrance sample set) will only be considered if it can be proven that the set has been irreversibly and completely damaged during shipping.

**Refunds for fragrances in decant packaging will only be considered if it can be proven that the fragrance packaging has been irreversibly and completely damaged during shipping.

2. The buyer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the exercise of the right of withdrawal. The buyer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the product of any kind if the product has been used in a manner that is incompatible with the principles of good faith. The products must be undamaged, retain an appearance suitable for resale (unremoved and undamaged labels, unpeeled protective films, etc.), and unused. The product must be returned in its original packaging, in the same configuration as it was received, including the purchase document and other accessories that were attached to it at the time of receipt. This also applies to free gifts, if any, that were included in the purchase as part of a Villa Mode marketing offer. If the product is not fully assembled, damaged, in disarray, or not adequately packaged, Villa Mode has the right to reject the product and not refund the buyer for the amount paid for the product.

3. If the buyer is a consumer in the sense of the Consumer Rights Protection Law (a natural person who acquires a product for purposes unrelated to their economic or professional activities), the buyer (consumer), without giving any reason, has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal. In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 255 of May 20, 2014, "Regulations on Distance Contracts," the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 30 calendar days from the moment of delivery of the product/products by submitting a withdrawal request to Villa Mode.

4. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer uses the withdrawal form in their customer profile (if registered) or sends a notice via email (to villamode@villamode.lv) stating their request, the item(s) being returned (product name), the order number, and the bank account number to which the buyer wishes to receive the refunded amount for the returned goods. Upon receiving such a request, Villa Mode immediately informs the buyer that it has been received, and both parties mutually agree on the method of returning the product to the seller. It is considered that the buyer has complied with the withdrawal period (30 days) if the buyer sends the notice of the exercise of the right of withdrawal to Villa Mode before the end of the withdrawal period. In case of a dispute, the buyer has the obligation to prove the exercise of the right of withdrawal and the deadline.

5. After reaching an agreement on the method of returning the product, the buyer must return the product to the seller without undue delay, but no later than within 30 days. This deadline is considered met if the buyer returns the product before the end of the 30-day period. The buyer is obliged to retain proof of the date of return of the product. Villa Mode has the right to refuse to accept the returned product if the deadlines for returning the product are not met.

6. Villa Mode, without undue delay but no later than within 14 days from the day when it receives the returned goods from the buyer, refunds the buyer the amount of money paid by the buyer, including the delivery costs paid for the delivery of the goods, in the amount that has been paid. The refundable amount is transferred to the bank account indicated by the buyer when exercising the right of withdrawal.

7. The direct costs of returning the product may be covered by either the buyer or the seller (by mutual agreement).
