By the late 19th century, the most popular item that gained immense popularity was the soap cube made from pure olive oil, free of preservatives. Today, Théophile Berthon continues to manufacture this simple yet fantastically effective product.

The 20th century marked a period of change for the company as new discoveries entered the market (such as foaming shower gels with laureth sulfate and powdered cleansers). However, it soon became evident that chemical ingredients were not always superior. Théophile Berthon found new inspiration to develop innovative formulas, making natural ingredients convenient and enjoyable for modern needs.
